Chartered in 1693, William & Mary is the second-oldest institution of higher learning in America. The Opportunity

In July 2020, W&M successfully concluded its $1 billion For the Bold campaign. The goal of this ambitious endeavor was to create “transformational initiatives and revolutionary ideas to change lives for the better.” The campaign’s top priority, and one third of its goal, was to make W&M accessible to all through scholarships. Other campaign gifts enabled the University to purchase state-of-the-art science equipment and fueled professorships and fellowships for graduate students.
