The Opportunity

Boston Children’s Hospital Trust is seeking a strategic leader to serve as the next Senior Director, Prospect Development and Research.

This role offers a rare opportunity to help shape the future of one of the country’s most respected fundraising programs during a critical moment of growth and momentum. As the Trust plans its most ambitious campaign to date, the Senior Director will be a key player in driving a robust prospect pipeline, delivering strategic insight, and optimizing alignment of donor capacity with institutional priorities.

Reporting to the Vice President, Operations and leading a team of nine, the Senior Director will serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership and frontline fundraising staff. They will guide prospect development, research strategy, and data-informed portfolio management while cultivating a culture of collaboration, innovation, and performance.

This is a high-impact role that sits at the intersection of data, strategy, and relationship-building, shaping the prospect development function as a driver of long-term philanthropic success.
