Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center is an institution dedicated to innovation and discovery for cancer research and care. Located at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center has been recognized as a “Cancer Center for Excellence” by the state of Florida and it is south Florida’s first and only university-based cancer center. The work of the 130 cancer specialists and 115 cancer researchers at Sylvester continues to be groundbreaking, including the establishment of a first-in-the-nation Department of Interventional Radiology and state-of-the-art patient-centric facilities.
